ZERO! ONLINE KEEPERCOACH FOR CLUBS

Video analysis—but for goalkeepers!

The team is analyzed. But who analyzes the goalie?

Video analysis has become a standard part of coaching top-level and league teams at many hockey clubs.

Game footage is reviewed and discussed: what went well, what could be improved, are the tactical plans working, and where are the areas for improvement?

But what about the goalie?

In regular video analysis, the focus is mainly on the team. The goalkeeper is often only mentioned when a goal is conceded or a spectacular save is made.

Yet it is precisely the goalkeeper who plays a crucial role in the organization, communication, and performance of the entire team.

ZERO! looks beyond the save.

With the ZERO! Online Goalkeeper Coach, the goalkeeper receives personalized coaching based on their own game footage.

No general tips or standard advice, but targeted analyses of technique, positioning, decision-making, game awareness, and tactical situations.

Not just what the goalkeeper does, but especially why certain decisions are made and how they can be improved.

A better goalkeeper. A stronger team.

The insights gained from video analysis are valuable not only for the goalkeeper, but also for the trainer, coach, and the entire team.

By gaining a better understanding of the goalkeeper’s actions, it becomes clear where individual areas for improvement lie and how the collaboration between the goalkeeper and the team can be strengthened.

Think of positioning, defensive organization, communication among players, and tactical agreements.

In this way, the ZERO! Online Goalkeeper Coach serves as a valuable addition to the club’s existing training sessions and video analyses.

Both the goalkeeper and the team discover what can be improved, why, and—most importantly—how they can work on it together.

Better goalkeeping starts with understanding why you do what you do.

Because a better goalkeeper makes the whole team stronger!

Who is it for?

The ZERO! Online Goalkeeper Coach is for clubs that are serious about developing their goalkeeper (and defense) and are open to honest, personalized feedback. You don't have to play at the highest level.

The desire to improve is more important than your current skill level.

Here’s how it works

From Footage to Insight (from the goalkeeper's perspective)

1. We select the relevant moments

From your game footage, we identify the situations that are important for your development. These include saves, goals conceded, coming off your line, positioning, restarts, one-on-one situations, and moments when a different choice was possible.

2. We analyze what’s really happening

We look beyond the final action. How were you positioned? What did you see? What choices did you make? Was your timing right? And did you have other options from your position?

3. We make it visible

We use visual analyses to make situations understandable. For example, we can highlight your position, running paths, distances, directions of movement, and possible alternatives. This allows you to see not only what happens, but also why a particular choice has an effect.

4. You’ll receive personalized feedback

We translate the analysis into concrete feedback and personalized areas for development. Not generic goalkeeping/ defending tips, but insights that stem directly from your own play.

5. We identify areas for you to work on

Every analysis should ultimately lead to something you can apply on the field. That’s why we link our findings to specific areas of focus and practical tools.

In a ZERO! Development Program or Seasonal Program, we also use these analyses to track your progress over a longer period. This allows us to see which areas are improving, where new challenges arise, and what your next step should be.

Don’t just see what’s happening. Understand why.

That’s where ZERO! makes the difference.

From game performance to insight.

From insight to development.

From development to better goalkeeping.
