REHABILITATION TRAINING
Every goalkeeper has to deal with it at some point: an injury, ranging from a bruise on your arm or leg to serious injuries to your ankle, knee, or back.

After sometimes days, weeks, or even months of treatment by a physical therapist, the moment finally arrives when you can start playing goalkeeper again.

But something has changed. You no longer play like you did before the injury. You feel awkward, uncertain, even a little scared, even though you were such a good goalkeeper before the injury.

At the ZERO! ACADEMY, we recognize and acknowledge this. Thanks to years of (our own) experience and collaboration with Eugene Diemel, physical therapist at Intercure in Baarn, we offer rehabilitation training for goalkeepers who are just returning from injury. The rehabilitation training focuses on the following:
-
Nature of the injury:
-
how did the injury occur, during which movement and in which situation.
-
-
What are the obstacles:
-
physical,
-
mental,
-
-
What treatments has your physiotherapist given you:
-
who is your physiotherapist (we are happy to work with the physiotherapist in question).
-
-
ZERO! ACADEMY Recovery program.

Our rehabilitation training programs begin with an intake interview to determine the above and what your goals are. Based on the intake interview, a special recovery training program will be put together to achieve those goals, and we will conduct interim evaluations to see if we are meeting the set goals.
